Brakes are grinding and I need someone who actually knows Jeeps
My Wrangler has started grinding when I brake, and it’s gotten worse over the past week to the point where I’m wincing every time I come to a stop. I know grinding usually means metal on metal, so I’ve probably left the pads too long and now the discs are involved. I’m in Musaffah so I’ve been looking into a Professional Jeep mechanic in Musaffah, but I want to know if there’s somewhere nearby that actually understands these heavier vehicles rather than treating them like a sedan. Has anyone had brake work done on a Wrangler around here and been happy? Also, how much should I expect to pay for pads and discs on something this size? I’d rather go in with some idea than get quoted whatever they feel like.
