  • Is chassis repair even worth it on an older car?

My 2012 Land Cruiser had a run in with a kerb during a desert trip and the impact was harder than I expected. The door gaps are slightly off now and it wanders on the highway, so something underneath has moved. Mechanically it’s been brilliant and I’ve sunk a lot into it over the years, but it’s also a twelve year old car and I’m wondering if chassis work is throwing good money after bad. I came across https://zenfoautoservices.ae/car-chassis-repair-abu-dhabi/ while trying to figure out what’s involved and whether it’s a realistic option on something this age, but I’d rather hear from people who’ve actually had it done. Is there a point where you just accept the car is bent and move on, or can a decent shop genuinely bring it back? Also does the age of the vehicle affect how well the repair holds up, like is the metal more likely to flex again afterwards? Trying to work out if I should fix it or start shopping for a replacement.
