  • Mercedes brakes squeak after the beach drive, who can fix them near Umm Suqeim?

My Mercedes C300 has made a thin squeak every time I brake since last weekend, when we drove down to the beach and the car sat in the sun and salty air for hours. I live near Umm Suqeim, and the car has about seventy thousand kilometres. The pads have never been changed. My neighbour says Mercedes brakes always squeak a little and I should ignore it. A friend says a squeak that does not go away is the wear warning, and that waiting can ruin the discs. I looked online for a Reliable brake pad installation for Mercedes near Umm Suqeim, but every page said the same thing, so I still do not know what a proper job includes. Do Mercedes pads and discs usually change together? Does the shop need to replace the wear sensor and reset the dash message with a scanner? Is it worth paying for original pads, or are good aftermarket ones fine on a Mercedes? Is it normal to ask for the old pads back? Also, how long does the job take, and can I wait there? What should it cost, so I know if a quote is fair? If you changed brakes on your Mercedes lately, please tell me where you went, what you paid, and what you would do differently. Easy answers help me most.
