Persistent warning light and the dealer wants a fortune, anyone nearby?
I’ve got this annoying situation where my 540i keeps throwing a chassis warning that comes and goes, and the dealer wants to charge me a small fortune just to look at it. I’ve been told it might be a sensor or something with the adaptive suspension, but honestly I’m not sure who to trust with this kind of diagnosis. But I’m skeptical because I’ve had bad experiences with garages that just guess and replace parts until the light goes away.
